Lesson 1 - Communication SignalsIntroduction
Cables are used to tie network devices, such as computers, to other network devices, such as computers or Media Access Units (MAUs). Network cables attach to a computer via a network interface card (NIC). NICs are manufactured to work with one or more types of cables. Signals that flow across these cables vary in speed and complexity. This lesson looks at the classifications of communication signals in a network.
